May 2008 HealthSouth Ludlow held their annual Years of Appreciation Dinner. Employees were given awards by their respective manager and each gave personal tributes about each employee. Dinner was prepared and served by the Dietary Staff under the Direction of Darryl Sinclair.

The cafeteria was decorated with soft lights and music as well as fine china for service. The attention to detail from the décor to the food was impeccable.

CEO Dave Richer was also recognized for his 10 years of service and was “roasted” by his Senior Management Team. It isn’t everyday that the employees get to see the CEO in the “hot spot”.

Richer spoke of his respect for the employees dedication and their going the “extra mile” for patients and families and credited the hospital’s success to be the result of each individual employees’ contribution and hard work.

Richer also commended the fine work of the Dietary Staff in creating the event with such great food and attention to detail, at that point the Dietary Department received a standing ovation from the entire group.
